At NTT Group we offer a number of services to help candidates and organisations with manually geared vehicles.
We understand that a large number of newly qualified drivers have not driven a manually geared large goods vehicle, this is primarily because more and more vehicles are now automatic, but there are still a number of vehicles in use that are manual. We appreciate that this can be very daunting for a new driver who does not have experience with a manual LGV, but can also be costly for an organisation which has manually geared vehicles that drivers are not trained properly to use.
At NTT Group, our instructors have experience with manual geared driving/training over a number of years. We have a manually geared vehicle on site to be able to deliver this specialised training – training can be delivered to an individual candidate or we can tailor training courses to organisations with a large number of drivers, with the option of on-site training at the company premises, using company vehicles that drivers are going to be using in real-life scenarios.
