Book a medical through us or with your own GP. We can provide you with a D4 form to take along to your medical appointment for the doctor to complete, and a D2 form for you to complete to apply for the provisional entitlement. Need help filling out your D2 form? Just ask and our office team will be happy to help!
Once you have attended the medical and your D4 and D2 forms are complete, just post these both to DVLA, along with your driving licence, and wait for your licence to return – it can take around 3 weeks to get this back.
Completing Your Theory Tests:
Now is the time to get revising! Make full use of our fantastic online theory test resources. All of the training material that you need for the multiple choice and hazard perception tests, as well as the extra information needed for the module 2 CPC case study test – an extra requirement if you want to be a professional driver – is available, just speak to our friendly office team for more information on how to purchase these materials.
Once you have received your driving licence back from DVLA with the provisional entitlement added, you can then complete the theory tests. When you send your provisional licence application to DVLA, we can provisionally book in some theory tests to coincide with when we think your licence will return, or alternatively you can wait until you have received your licence back from DVLA before booking in your theory tests – just let us know what you would prefer.
Completing Your Driver Training Course:
Once you have passed both the theory and hazard perception tests, you can then complete your practical driving course and test – you will sit your driving test at our very own on-site DVSA approved test centre and be on the road in no time!
